The purpose of my thesis is to quantify the phenomenon of teen pregnancy and explore why there is such a difference in the rate of teenage pregnancy in two countries with similar socioeconomic status. It also aims to explore who becomes a teenage mother, and what becomes of them following a teenage maternity.
