The UCL Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering (IEDE) pursues a deeper understanding of the part played by choices relating to buildings and the urban environment in tackling some of the greatest challenges facing mankind, in areas such as health, human wellbeing, productivity, energy use and climate change.
