UCL Graduate degrees

Subject areas

  • Education: Art, Design and Museology

The UCL Institute of Education’s Art, Design and Museology programmes are part of a vibrant community committed to bringing creativity into everyday lives. Working closely with galleries and museums, students learn skills to work in museum and gallery education, music education hubs, education media and research, and more. You will work in purpose built studios, which include a computer suite as well as photographic, ceramic and 3D construction facilities, and have access to the Monitor Gallery, our venue for testing exhibition and programming ideas. In the past students have undertaken placements with organisations such as the British Museum, Design Museum, Imperial War Museum, ICA, and Victoria and Albert Museum. Some students have even contributed to exhibitions in public galleries including Tate Modern.
