Book Your Doctoral School Welcome Events Now
Collect your essential ID cards
ID card collection
Your ID card is essential. Once you are fully enrolled you will be able to collect your ID card following the instructions in your enrolment confirmation email. You must bring a physical form (no photocopies or scans) of identification to collect your ID card. e.g. passport, BRP card, driving licence (if you are from the UK).
ID Card collection at Bloomsbury before or after these dates will take place in the Andrew Huxley Building. You must book an appointment through the ID Card appointment booking link. You must only use this booking link if you are enrolled.
Please note, due to the tube strikes between 8 - 11 January, the Andrew Huxley Building will run a reduced service between 10.00am - 4.00pm.
Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) Card Collection
You will receive an email once you are able to collect your BRP (if applicable). You must bring your passport to collect your BRP card (no photocopies or scans accepted). For more information, visit the immigration & visas webpage.
BRP collection before or after these dates will take place every Thursday 1:30-4:30pm in Chadwick, Room G01.
Help Desks
Our Help Desks are here to support you with any problems in your first few days. e.g. IT support, enrolment issues, visa and immigration issues or fees issues.
IT service helpdesk before or after these dates will take place every weekday 09:30am-5:30pm in Science Library or IOE Library.
Admissions Hub support before or after these dates will be open Tuesday - Friday 10am-4pm in Chadwick, Room G02.
Talk to teams and experts at the Support Services Fair
The Support Services Fair gives you a chance to talk to various teams and experts at UCL who can help develop a skill, start a business, learn about volunteering, find a job, access mental or physical health support and provide more detailed information and advice - plus there will be prizes to win if you engage with every support services stall!
