The International Student Safety Seminars help keep students safe during their time at UCL and in London. They are run by UCL and the London Metropolitan Police.
As a new international student, this may be your first time in London and the UK. It may even be your first time leaving your home country! We understand that this can be a scary feeling. This is why UCL has teamed up with London's Metropolitan Police to deliver the International Student Safety Seminars. They will be held at the UCL Bloomsbury campus, in Roberts Building, Sir Ambrose Fleming Lecture Theatre G06
In these safety seminars, we will discuss the following topics:
- Safety around campus;
- Safety in London;
- Safety at night;
- Female safety;
- Safety of personal property such as phones and bikes;
- Online and in-person fraud and scams;
- Hate crimes;
- Terrorism.
You will have the chance to participate in polls and ask questions with your phones throughout the presentation.
The (free) tickets for the event will go live on Eventbrite on 02 December 2024!
