We want to make sure that you get the most out of your time with us, that's why whatever difficulties or issues you may face while you're studying with us we're here to help you make sure you get the support you need.

Register with a doctor

It's important that you're registered with a GP while you study at UCL so that you can get medical care if you need it. Find out about local services and what you're entitled to.

Emotional and psychological support

Find out more about our service dedicated to helping our students with personal, emotional and psychological concerns.

Disability and long-term conditions

We aim to promote and implement an inclusive learning environment, so you can study as independently as possible.

Evening and weekend support

We work in partnership with Care First to provide out of hours counselling support by telephone or online using instant messaging.

Support from other organisations

As well as the services provided by Student Support and Wellbeing there are other organisations you can turn to if you need their help or advice

If you are a LGBT+ student, a student parent, mature student, care leaver or other specific student group find out how we can support you.

Support from UCLU

The Students’ Union UCL offers a range of opportunities to help you look after your wellbeing and engage with the UCL community and beyond.

University life can be a lot of fun but it can also be hard work and it’s important that you look after your physical and mental health so you can make the most of your time.

When you’re worried about someone

Having concerns about a friend or classmate's wellbeing can be stressful. There are many sources of support for students who are having difficulties.

Sexual violence, bullying and harassment

If you have been a victim of sexual violence, bullying or harassment, there is support available from UCL and other organisations.
