Student support

As a UCL international foundation year student, you’ll have access to a variety of support. Find out more about the personal and academic assistance the UPC offers, as well as the wide range of central UCL services.

Personal Tutors

You'll have weekly one-to-one tutorials with your personal tutor. They’ll support you with academic and personal matters throughout the course.

UPC Student Mentors

You'll have your own student mentor who will be a former UPC student. They can support you with non-academic issues and help you settle into life at UCL.

Health & Wellbeing

The UPC has its own dedicated health & wellbeing tutor to support you during your time on the course. You'll also have access to a wide range of central UCL services.

Scholarships

We offer scholarships for students from forced migration backgrounds, and a scholarship for the top-performing student on each UPC pathway, supporting them throughout their undergraduate studies at UCL. Plus, find out about the UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship.

Applying to undergraduate degrees (UCAS)

We'll support with your UCAS applications to undergraduate degree programmes. You'll receive personalised guidance from a dedicated education advisor.

Oxbridge preparation

Applications to Oxbridge (Oxford and Cambridge) are highly competitive and need early preparation. Find out what support we offer if you’re eligible to apply.

Law degree preparation (LNAT)

If you plan to study Law after the UPC, you’ll need to take the national admissions test for Law (LNAT). Find out how we prepare you for this exam.
