Undergraduate Preparatory Certificates (International Foundation Year)

This course is for you if:

• you want to study an undergraduate degree at UCL
• your high school qualifications are not accepted for entry onto a UCL undergraduate degree
• you are an academically strong student with excellent school grades
• you will be over 16 years old at the start of the course

International Pre-Master's

This course is for you if you want to:

• study a nine-month course to give yourself the time to meet challenging postgraduate English language entry requirements at top UK universities
• improve your English language and academic skills related to your future subject area
• explore your interests and options before postgraduate study at a top UK university, and receive support in your postgraduate application and personal statement writing

Pre-sessional English courses

These courses are for you if you:

• hold a conditional offer for a UCL graduate or undergraduate degree 
• do not meet the English language requirement 
• want to improve your English language and academic skills
• want to study an intensive preparation course immediately before starting your degree programme at UCL 

Unconditional Pre-sessional English course

This course is for you if you:

• hold an unconditional offer for a UCL graduate degree 
• already meet the English language requirement 
• want to improve your English language and academic skills
• want to study an intensive preparation course on our campus in central London immediately before starting your degree programme at UCL
