Be part of the Peer Support Team to stay connected to the IOE community
Getting started
Being a part of Peer Support Team is a great opportunity to stay connected after you have finished your programme but still contribute to the community.
We particularly welcome students who have skills they can share (e.g., publishing, resume writing, spirituality, etc), or students who would like to challenge themselves with a leadership role.
What we do
Peer supporters are typically senior or alumni students who have walked the walk and are able to share their knowledge with new students at IOE. As a peer supporter you will be working with one or two students, 1-1, having monthly meetings. The support can range from academic, to career or personal.
Along with other Peer Support Team members, you will also put together a calendar of workshops and activities, where you will be encouraged to share your skill or expertise such as body awareness, publishing skills, etc. You will support the students in the relevant areas, and will gather feedback to improve our performance.
