UCL is an accredited Disabled Students' Allowances NMH provider in accordance with the DSA-QAG Quality Assurance Framework.

Non-medical helpers

At present we work with Randstad and Equality Focus to provide Band 1 and 2 non-medical helpers such as note-takers, practical support assistants and exam scribes. 

Specialist 1:1 study skills support 

UCL Student Support and Wellbeing is a registered NMH provider of Band 4 DSA funded specialist one-to-one study skills support for:

  • Students with specific learning difficulties (SpLDs) such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and AD(H)D
  • Students with autistic spectrum conditions (ASCs)

Specialist mentoring - mental health and autistic spectrum conditions

At present, we work with Equality Focus, University Mentoring Organisation (UMO) and the National Autistic Society (NAS) for mentoring support. Please consider these services when making recommendations for UCL students.

Communication support for D/deaf students

At present we work with Interpreting Matters and Deaf Student Solutions to provide specialist support for D/deaf students, such as BSL interpreters and language support.
