Mental Health Awareness Week 2020: 30 random acts of kindness

Sometimes we forget how easy it is to spread some good vibes around us. Remember that it can take as little as 2 seconds to turn someone’s day around through simple gestures.

Pick a few of our favourite acts of kindness to try today:

 

  1. Smile at someone just because

  2. Bake cookies for your neighbour

  3. Donate to a food bank

  4. Send a friend or family member a card in the post

  5. Be a good listener

  6. Send chocolates or flowers to a friend out of the blue

  7. Pay for someone’s meal or take away

  8. Let someone go in front of you in line

  9. Compliment a stranger

  10. Call a relative just to say hello

  11. Clear up a mess you didn’t make

  12. Tell someone you love them

  13. Hold the door open for someone

  14. Leave a friendly note for someone

  15. Sort out some old clothes to donate to charity

  16. Pick up some litter that isn’t yours

  17. Share something with someone

  18. Give feedback about good customer service
