Careers and employability
At UCL we take your future ambitions seriously and provide you with the support to realise them.
Careers support
We know you will invest considerable time and money undertaking a degree at UCL, and do so to boost your career or undertake further study in the UK or abroad.
Realise your ambitions
The team of professional consultants at UCL Careers can discuss your options and help you to plan your next move. UCL students are highly regarded and targeted by employers, who value their academic achievements and the skills they gain through extracurricular activities and work experience.
UCL Careers is part of The Careers Group, University of London, and you can also attend events hosted by them.
Enhance your capabilities with UCLSU
UCL Careers and Students' Union UCL run a joint programme of skills development activities known as Skills Sessions. These involve employers coming onto campus to coach you in areas such as leadership, negotiation and problem solving, while helping you with the application process, from CV writing to mock interviews with feedback.
Enjoy careers without frontiers
For international students, we offer a range of globally focused talks and events catering to both international students and those looking to work overseas.
For up to two years after leaving UCL, graduates have access to specialist one-to-one coaching from careers consultants experienced with dealing with recent leavers, a suite of careers-related workshops designed specifically for the issues of the graduate job seeker plus the same range of services (including the employer events programme) from which current students benefit.
Work whilst you study with myUCLCareers
myUCLCareers is our very own online jobs board, promoting over 1,800 jobs, work experience and internship opportunities a week to UCL students.
