How do coders do it? How do you get from an idea or a problem to a working program?

This course introduces the non-coder to the ways of thinking that make for successful program development.

Without writing any code, we use practical and engaging exercises to expose learners to programming problems and solutions. This helps both to demystify coding and to lead learners into the actual coding task without code anxiety.

Location

The course will take place on the Bloomsbury campus.  The exact location will be sent to you in the joining instructions at least one day before the start of the course.

Objectives

By the end of the course learners will have:

  • gained enough exposure to the central ideas of programming to decide if they want to learn to code;
  • be familiar with central, practical programming concepts.
