UCL Halls
At UCL we provide accommodation to meet a range of needs to all those who are eligible. We provide halls for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Find out which halls are separated by mode of study and those that house a mix of both undergraduate and postgraduate on the dedicated page for each hall.
UCL also has family accommodation for married students, or those in a civil partnership, and for students who have children. While we try to find the right accommodation for all of our eligible students, we cannot guarantee family accommodation as spaces are limited.
UCL offers two catered halls for prospective residents and the opportunity to apply for catered accommodation in intercollegiate halls where you might live alongside students from other universities in London. Follow the links on the hall pages to find out more about the type of food provided in UCL Accommodation. The rest of our halls are self-catered and all located within easy reach of supermarkets.
On this page, you will also find links to intercollegiate halls and private partner providers, as well as a link for second and third-year students looking for their next accommodation. Intercollegiate Halls are available to UCL students and those attending any college of the University of London. Undergraduates applying for Intercollegiate Halls can specify the Hall and room type they would like. The options in Intercollegiate Halls for postgraduates are more limited. Contracts for intercollegiate and nominated private provider halls are with the provider and not with UCL Accommodation. We also offer summer accommodation for those with on extended courses, or who wish to stay in London while they look for their student accommodation for the following years.
