Online events for international students

UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) is holding a free, exciting week-long online event for international students in November 2020. In this event, you will have the opportunity to meet #WeAreInternational student ambassadors who are studying at a range of UK universities, UKCISA members, policy makers and other fellow students. You will also hear stories and insights about life and academic experience as an international student in the UK from our ambassadors and the following speakers:

• Lord Karan Bilimoria (UKCISA President)
• Professor Sir Steve Smith (UK International Education Champion)
• Larissa Kennedy (NUS President)

The event will be held from 16 - 20 November 2020. Registration will open in the week commencing 26 October 2020. Please read more about the event details on the UKCISA website.

Become a #WeAreInternational Ambassador

UKCISA is also offering a new opportunity to become a #WeAreInternational student ambassador for 2020-22. The #WeAreInternational student ambassador programme is an exciting opportunity for international students who are currently studying in the UK to represent international students’ voices with various training and development sessions, and receive exclusive access to mentorships, events, and conferences.

The application for the programme will close on 10 November 2020. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to online interviews on 25 November 2020. Please read more about the application process on the UKCISA website.
