A broadband fluorine observe (BBFO) double resonance probe designed for X-nuclei observation with 1H decoupling and for 1H observation is used on a permanent basis since July 2022. The X-nuclei broadband frequency range covers 97Mo-31P and additionally includes 19F (i.e. 1H observation with 19F decoupling and vice versa are possible).
The sensitivity specifications are:
1H 161 : 1 (noise [200 Hz], 0.1% Ethylbenzene in CDCl3);
13C 100 : 1 (noise [40 ppm], ASTM, 40% dioxane, 60% C6D6);
15N 19 : 1 (noise [2 ppm], 90% formamide in DMSO-d6);
19F 344 : 1 (noise [1 ppm], 0.05% TFT in CDCl3);
31P 120 : 1 (noise [5 ppm], 0.0485 M Triphenyl Phosphate (TPP) in acetone-d6).
The 300 MHz instrument is equipped with a BACS60 sample changer.
