Training - Library Skills sessions, guides and online tutorials

Queen Square Library offers free library skills support & training to UCL staff & students & UCLH staff, with a focus on UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology & the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. You must be a registered library member to attend training. NHS users: please contact us to check if you are not sure whether or not you are registered. 

  • Bookable sessions and demos - Library Skills sessions run throughout the academic year. These sessions will help you to develop your skills and to take full advantage of the many search tools on offer. The training calendar lists session dates and times. Contact us if you would like to book a bespoke training session for your department.
  • Induction sessions - for a brief overview of the Queen Square Library, contact us about an induction session for yourself or your team. You can also visit UCL Library Services' Getting Started site and our virtual tour.
  • One-to-one assistance: please complete the online form to book an appointment if you need advice about a literature search. Also see details of our literature search service for clinical staff.
