This website provides a guide to UCL authors and colleagues in the best way to approach bibliometric measures, and how to interpret and use the findings in relation to UCL bibliometrics policy and the wider context.

UCL is a research-intensive university that consistently scores highly in world league tables. One of the ways of illustrating UCL’s outstanding position is to use bibliometrics, an approach which allows for a quantitative evaluation of research outputs.
