The Reburial of the Brighton Dome Quakers

Amongst the group attending the reburial of the Quaker skeletons discovered at the Brighton Dome was archaeologist and osteologist Paola Ponce, who had been part of the core team from ASE responsible for supervising their excavation and removal.

Almost exactly a year after their discovery, the Quakers buried in land under the Brighton Dome are reburied. During that time the skeletons were examined, recorded and reported on by Archaeology South-East. Further information about the renovation project and the reburial can be found here:
