Study and Research

At UCL East, students work alongside world-leading academics and partners to break boundaries and make an impact on real world problems. Explore our innovative courses, new schools and centres and where to get all the information you need to apply.

Our UCL East campus brings together expertise from our existing UCL faculties to form new schools and centres - from architectural design to robotics, media to art and technology, heritage to engineering and advanced propulsion - building on our existing presence in east London nearby at Here East.

All courses at UCL East are either cross-disciplinary or interdisciplinary, designed by academics from different departments, together with industry, partners and practitioners. Innovation and collaboration are designed in, with students and staff working in shared environments and learning by doing, whatever their individual specialism.

Many of these courses are among the first of their kind in the world giving our students a unique learning experience.
