Develop your engagement activities and build partnerships with east London communities through UCL East community engagement funding.

The community engagement team for our new UCL East campus has opened three funding streams to support activity in east London.
- The Community Engagement Seed Fund is a small grants funding round for up to £4,000 designed to support the development of UCL engagement activities and partnership opportunities with east London communities.
- The Development Funding stream (new!) give access to between £2,000 -£4,000 to support previously funded projects to take their engagment work to the next level and create a step change in practice.
- The Community Engagement Funding for Students (new!), run in collaboration with the Students' Union, gives students up to £1,000 to run projects linked to or inspired by their studies, in collaboration with east London partners. Find out more on the Students Union UCL website by scrolling down to "UCL East Grant".
The projects should be related to the vision for our new UCL East campus and should be founded on the principles of collaboration, co-production and two-way dialogue with the identified partner.
The grants aim to create the opportunity for anyone in the UCL community with research, study or teaching links to UCL East, and their partners, to develop or deliver activity in line with our vision for UCL East as an open, accessible, and publicly-engaged university campus in east London.
Apply before 2 Dec for the Community Engagement Seed Fund; other streams have a rolling deadline.
Please note all project spend must be complete by 31 July 2023.
