UCL East

UCL is opening a new campus on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park offering exciting new degrees and giving us the scale and space we need to help tackle the biggest challenges facing people and the planet. It’s the biggest development in our nearly 200-year history.

Our One Pool Street base opens this autumn (2022). Full of multidisciplinary research labs and studios exploring ecology, robotics, urbanism, culture, disability and heritage, with a lecture theatre doubling as a cinema, a shop, café and homes for 500+ students.

Marshgate (autumn 2023) will be eight floors of hi-tech, cross-disciplinary research labs, teaching areas, fabrication workshops, collaboration spaces, a library, a refectory, prayer space and a UCL Institute of Making.

UCL East is accessible, sustainable and open to the public, with exhibitions and public art from local artists.
