The TINs Pilot Data Scheme 2023 awardees announced
21 April 2023
We are pleased to announce the awardees of the latest round of UCL TINs Pilot Data Scheme (PDS) supported by Wellcome. Twenty-seven translational research projects have been awarded during the third round of the PDS, spreading across the six therapeutic modalities of TINs.
Each project awardee will have access to £5 - £10k funding to run their projects over a six-month period. Supporting preliminary translational work, projects will aim to accelerate the transition from discovery science to the early stages of therapeutic development.
This year, we have received 40 submissions. Applicants were provided with training opportunities and pitching skills coaching through the ACCELERATE program initiated by TINs to support their translational research.
Congratulations to all awardees and we thank the TIN Chairs and selection committees for their tremendous efforts in driving a rigorous selection process. At TRO, we are proud to support UCL’s Early Career Researchers and look forward to seeing these projects set off on their translational journey.
