ACCELERATE
ACCELERATE is a set of interlinked portfolios of training events, experiences and resources aimed at upskilling the UCL research community in translational research through technical training (ACCELERATE Expertise), skills development (ACCELERATE Success), and encouraging innovative thinking (ACCELERATE Innovation), respectively.
‘Choose your own adventure’ by taking part in specific initiatives (or all of them!) from the above portfolios depending on your interests and need. You might like to start with ACCELERATE Potential- an introductory, self-paced module on translational research.
ACCELERATE is aimed at researchers at UCL who are interested in how to widen the impact of their research, particularly in healthcare, and the skills needed to do so. We welcome and encourage participation from all research disciplines.
ACCELERATE forms part of a wider, Wellcome-Trust-funded initiative to increase translational research capacity across UCL. We, the UCL Academic Careers Office, collaborate with the UCL Translational Research Office on this project.
