Building strategic partnerships between UCL and the healthcare industry
Industry support, provided by the Business and Innovation Group (B&IG) within the TRO:
- Provide tailored support to inform industry engagement activities and manage alliances
- Drive discussions/negotiations between academics and industry linking with broader professional services groups
- Facilitate cross divisional knowledge transfer around business development activities
- Facilitate knowledge exchange initiatives
- Standardise and streamline industrial collaboration processes i.e. pricing of industry research
- Maintain links to important health networks such as MedCity Ltd, Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC), Academic Health Science Networks (AHSN), Collaboration for the Advancement of Sustainable Medical Innovation (CASMI), NIHR Biomedical Research Centres (NIHR BRC’s)
