Rules for entering England

As of Friday 18 March 2022, you do not need to take any COVID-19 tests or quarantine on arrival in England, irrespective of your vaccination status. 

When you travel to England from abroad you:

• do not need to take any COVID-19 tests before you travel or after you arrive
• do not need to fill in a UK passenger locator form
• do not need to quarantine when you arrive

This applies whether you are vaccinated or not. 

It includes people who are transiting through England. 

Before you travel, check the UK Government website on travelling to England and you should follow any rules and instructions issued by your travel provider.

Proving your vaccination status

If your travel provider requires you to provide proof of your vaccination status, you can do so in the following ways:

• the NHS COVID pass if you were vaccinated in the UK
• the EU Digital COVID Certificate
• the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention vaccination card for US residents
• a vaccine certificate
