The UCL International Student Support team hold these webinars for new international students who will be coming to UCL and/or London for the first time in September or January. In these webinars, a member of the International Student Support team and a current international UCL student will be available via video chat to help you with a wide variety of questions you may have regarding life at UCL or life in the UK.

Each webinar is the same, so you only need to attend one.

When are they next happening?

We have finished running our two International Student Orientation Webinars for January 2024 starters.

The next ones will be run in August 2024 for students starting at UCL in September 2024.

How can I ask questions in the webinars?

We know that feeling. You're on a video chat with 101 other people and it can be a little scary to ask a question in front of everyone. What if they don't understand me? What if the question sounds silly? Well, your question probably isn't silly at all and many other new students will be thinking the same thing. Trust us, we do this a lot.

However, we still understand these feelings, so we will ask that you submit your questions beforehand via our online form, which will be posted nearer the time of the webinar. This allows each webinar to be as tailored to its audience as much as possible.
