‘Your Guide to Thrive’ organised by Student Support and Wellbeing is a fun-packed week in Term 1 (Monday 20th - Friday 24th November 2023) designed to help you develop good self-care practices at UCL. Our talks, walks and workshops will nurture your financial and academic skills, as well as your physical and mental health. Be sure to book your spot at these events and activities!

London Life on a Budget

Starting university is a big transition, and with this comes the responsibility of managing your finances. When you can effectively do this, you can then spend more time making friends, studying and enjoying your student experience. To help you along the way, Student Support and Wellbeing have teamed up with The Money Charity to deliver a 'Uni Money Workshop' for all UCL students.

The topics that will be covered in this interactive workshop include:

  • Understanding how Student Finance works and its financial implications
  • Knowing the cost of living at university and how to budget for it
  • Transitioning into working life after university, understanding how spending might change
  • Feeling more confident in handling uni money worries

Places are limited, so make sure you book your spot!

If you're unable to make this date, the same session will be repeated on Monday 20th November, 12pm-1pm (102 Drama Studio, IOE).

Find out what else is happening during Student Support and Wellbeing's 'Your Guide to Thrive' week here. Our wide range of Events and Activities throughout the academic year help you maintain your physical, emotional and mental health. Student Support and Wellbeing strive to give all UCL students the chance to try something new, make friends and develop wellbeing skills for university and beyond. We hope to see you at one of our events soon!

Build your own SSW

Student Support and Wellbeing curate termly campaigns to support the three core aspects of your own SSW: Social bonding, Skills for life and Wellbeing at university. Each activity aims to develop one, two, or all three of these aspects.
