Our talks, walks and workshops will nurture your financial and academic skills, as well as your physical and mental health. Be sure to book your spot at these events and activities!

Finding your academic voice

Would you like to build on your essay writing and exam skills? Are you trying to find your writing voice as a university student?

The UCL Academic Communication Centre (ACC) supports students of all language backgrounds and levels of study to develop their academic literacy and communication skills.

Join the Writing Lab tutors for this session on important things to remember about:

  • Academic writing
  • Developing your skills
  • Tips for when writing feels most difficult
  • Getting support and feedback on your drafts, which is important to even the most experienced writers!

Places are limited, so make sure you book your spot!

If you're unable to make this date, the same session will be repeated on Friday 24th November 2023, 2pm-3pm (102 Drama Studio, IOE).

Find out what else is happening during Student Support and Wellbeing's 'Your Guide to Thrive' week here. Our wide range of Events and Activities throughout the academic year help you maintain your physical, emotional and mental health. Student Support and Wellbeing strive to give all UCL students the chance to try something new, make friends and develop wellbeing skills for university and beyond. We hope to see you at one of our events soon!

Build your SSW

Student Support and Wellbeing curate termly campaigns to support the three core aspects of your own SSW: Social bonding, Skills for life and Wellbeing at university. Each activity aims to develop one, two, or all three of these aspects.
