Library Services

External (non-UCL) users

Qualifying UCL alumni and visitors can use UCL libraries, but must complete an online registration form before visiting.

Library Membership during the Easter Closure Period

Please note that the online membership registration process for new applications and renewals will close at 12:00pm on Wednesday 27 March. We will reopen the application process on the morning of Thursday 4 April.

Before your arrival

All applicants must complete an online registration form and have received an email confirming their library membership before arriving at the library to collect a library card.

Please ensure that you meet the criteria outlined in Specific Information for External Users, below, before applying.

Please allow up to two working days for your application to be processed and for you to be contacted to confirm that your card is ready to collect.

Please note, we no longer process walk-in new applications or renewals at our membership desks.
