Congratulations on receiving your offer to study a postgraduate taught programme at the UCL Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care! This page contains useful links and information as you prepare to join UCL in September 2024.

Accepting your offer 

For those who would like to take up their offer and haven't accepted it yet, you will need to accept it through your applicant portal as soon as possible. This is especially important if you need to apply for a visa to study at UCL.

UCL also have guidance available to help you with your decision.

UCL Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care is one of ten Institutes, School and Centres that make up the Faculty of Population Health Sciences. As a student within the Faculty of Population Health Sciences you join a community of scientists and experts who are utilising the best scientific approaches including innovation in clinical trials, informatics, omics, data science, social science research and epidemiology to solve societal health problems. 


Scholarships and funding 

At department level, the Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care have a number of programme specific scholarships. 

  • MSc Social Epidemiology: there is currently one £2,500 studentship available for entry in the 2024/25 academic year. 
  • MSc Population Health: there is currently one £2,500 studentship available for entry in the 2024/25 academic year. 
  • MSc Dental Public Health: there are currently two Scholarships available for full-time students undertaking the MSc in Dental Public Health in the 2024/5 academic year. The Scholarships consist of £2,500 towards tuition fees for home students and £5,000 for overseas students. 
  • MSc Health Psychology: there is currently one £3,750 studentship available for entry in the 2024/25 academic year. 
  • Master of Public Health MPH (online): there are two Impact Scholarships available for entry for 2024/25 academic year.
