E. Pyddoke Book Prize

Founded in 1977 by a gift from Mrs Pyddoke in memory of her late husband, Edward Pyddoke

  1. A Prize known as the E. Pyddoke Prize may be awarded in each session.

  2. The Prize is awarded by the Council on the recommendation of the Tutor for Fieldwork of the Institute of Archaeology.

  3. The Prize is awarded to the Institute of Archaeology student producing the best First-Year training field note-book.

  4. The Prize takes the form of books to the value of £60.

  5. The award is announced in July.

  6. Awards are subject to the provisions of the General Regulations.
