Outreach

The Astrophysics Group is undertaking several outreach activities to engage the general public and schools in Astrophysics. Our activities include public talks and festivals, teaching in schools and at the UCL Observatory, collaborations with undergraduate students.

Engaging science presentations to bring together scientists and the people of London, making astronomy more fun.

Phys Film Makers

An opportunity for undergraduates interested in media and communication to interview and film researchers.

ORBYTS

An education programme in which secondary school pupils work on original research projects under tuition of young scientists.

Your Universe Festival

Free event with interactive exhibits, telescope demonstrations, lectures, panel discussions. Open to all.

UCL Observatory

Based in Mill Hill, it hosts our astronomy teaching and public engagement opportunities.
