UCL researchers collaborating with artists celebrated in short film
13 June 2019
A short film has been created to celebrate and explore collaborations between UCL researchers and artists based in east London.

The programme of artists:researcher collaboration supported by Trellis: Growing Community University Partnerships aims to create opportunities for knowledge exchange between UCL research and artists local to UCL East. Nine partnerships were funded following a matchmaking event in December, and this film uses two of these as cases studies to investigating the collaborative process.
These partners are participating in the Trellis: Public Art programme, a project exploring knowledge exchange between researchers and artists funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
A short film about the matchmaing process is also available.
The nine funded partnerships had the chance to apply for one of four commissions on April 30th. This commission is for an exhibition of work in October 2019 on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the winners will be announced soon.
