The Division of Surgery and Interventional Science is a cross-disciplinary environment where clinicians, engineers and allied health professionals work on research that directly informs our teaching.
We deliver education on three campuses, each of which is closely associated with a hospital: Bloomsbury (UCLH), Hampstead (The Royal Free) and Stanmore (the RNOH).
We also delever some of our education online. Our main base on the Bloomsbury Campus is Charles Bell House, where we have a range of flexible teaching and research facilities, including offices, meeting rooms, laboratories, seminar rooms (equipped with Lecturecast) and social spaces; our main library is the Cruciform Hub. In Bloomsbury, we also have a very close collaboration with the Institute of Sport Exercise & Health, which is the base for two of our postgraduate programmes, one full undergraduate programme and an iBSc. In Hampstead, our teaching facilities include the Jerry Kirk Lecture theatre, a smaller seminar room and the Royal Free library, as well as several laboratories. On the Stanmore campus, most of the teaching is delivered in the Student Centre (Lecturecast equipped) or meeting room and some sessions take place in the RNOH Teaching centre, UCL/RNOH Library and various labs. IT facilities are available in the Stanmore library and hot-desking area in the main IOMS building.
