Camden BEAM and iCope are brilliant services offering accessible mental health support during your time at UCL.

Camden BEAM

Thursday 21st and Thursday 28th September 2023.

Camden BEAM Emotional Health & Wellbeing Services are joining our Hub on the Mezzanine Floor of the Student Centre. They will share details of their free mental health support for young people aged 18-25. Members of the team can answer any questions you have about their drop-in service, which runs each Thursday from 6pm - 8.30pm.

The team offer in-the-moment support to any young person who needs mental health support. There is no waiting list, and you do not need to book an appointment.

On the days when Camden BEAM are not at the Hub, there will still be members of staff on hand to offer advice and information about the service.


CUBE Clinic

Thursday 21st September 2023.

The Changing Unwanted BEhaviour (CUBE) Clinic is a specialist NHS ​​​​​​mental health service within the UCL University Clinic and will be joining our Hub on the 21st September. The CUBE clinic is a free and confidential service open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students registered at UCL. They support students who are experiencing personal, emotional or psychological concerns related to alcohol and drug use and other behaviour patterns such as gaming, gambling and pornography. The CUBE Clinic is located on the 6th floor of 1-19 Torrington Place.

On the days when Camden BEAM are not at the Hub, there will still be members of staff on hand to offer advice and information about the service.


iCope

Tuesday 19th September 2023.

Delivered by NHS Camden and Islington, iCope Psychological Therapies Service offer short-term psychological interventions and NHS talking therapies (IAPT) for mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. The team provide goal focused in-person and virtual appointments grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to adults aged 18 and above.
