National Student Money Week 2024

Established by the National Association of Student Money Advisers (NASMA), National Student Money Week will take place between 4 - 8 March 2024. This year the theme is 'Less Risk, More Reward: Maintaining your Financial Wellbeing at University.'
Do you want to ensure you’re receiving all the funding you’re entitled to? Want to know more about how you can manage your money in a sustainable way? Need tips on how to spend less and save more?
Along with other National Student Money Week partners, we've organised a number of events over the week to help you learn more about making your money go further, protecting your digital assets and finding alternative avenues for postgraduate funding!
Taking place between Tuesday 5 March - Thursday 7 March, you are welcome to come along for a free lunch and increase your understanding around finances!

- What's your money personality? | Tuesday 5 March (1pm - 2pm) | Wilkins Garden Room
Do you want to understand more about your relationship with money? Do you know how your money personality might shape your financial behaviour?
Then come along to our workshop hosted in collaboration with The Money Charity on Tuesday 5 March from 1pm - 2pm at the Wilkins Garden Room in the Bernard Katz Building.
You'll learn to recognise your own money personality, how this shapes your spending habits and learn money saving tips and tricks. Free lunch will also be provided!- Cryptocurrency: protecting your digital wallet | Wednesday 6 March (1pm-2pm) | G10, Chandler House
Curious about crypto? Want to understand the risks and issues that may arise around investing in cryptocurrency and learn about safeguarding your digital wallet?
Then join us on Wednesday 6 March 1pm - 2pm, G10 in Chandler House where we'll be discussing all things crypto and how to ensure you are staying safe when it comes to digital investments. Free lunch will also be provided!

Then join us on Thursday 7th March 1pm - 2pm at the Gustav Tuck Lecture Theatre where we'll be discussing postgraduate funding opportunities and the numerous avenues available to secure postgraduate funding. Free lunch will also be provided!

Designed especially for students, this 45 min live interview with Tony Sales will offer a glimpse into the world of organised crime – looking specifically at the tactic’s fraudsters will use to scam students or use them to launder their dirty money.
