Pre-departure webinars for east Asian and Indian students

The British Council would like to invite all East Asian and Indian students to join their two separate webinars on preparing to study in the UK.
You will receive practical guidance to help you prepare for your trip and settle into life as a student in the UK. There will be presentations by key representatives from Study UK (British Council), UK Visas and Immigration and Visit Britain. You will also hear from alumni and current students from East Asia and Indian students who can tell you all about what it's really like studying in the UK.
Information provided will include:
Preparation for travel;
Finances and health matters;
Processing your visa application;
Information on how blended learning will work;
Living as a student in the UK.
East Asian student webinar
Date: Thursday 17 September 2020.
Time: 8:00 - 9:30am UK time.
Speakers: Representatives from British Council, UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), Visit Britain and current students and alumni from East Asia.

Indian student webinar
Date: Thursday 24 September 2020.
Time: 3pm - 5pm (Indian Standard Time).
Speakers: Representatives from the British Council, UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), University Living, British Airways, students currently studying in the UK and alumni.
