What to expect from UCL 101: A guide to your first term?
UCL 101 is an in-person talk designed to answer all your questions about starting at UCL. By attending UCL 101, you should feel confident in accessing support services and receive ‘insider tips’ from current students to make the most of your time at UCL. Each UCL 101 is split into distinct sections, covering ‘what I wish I knew before starting at UCL’, general advice and information, and a Q&A section. We run different sessions for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students, tailoring information to your study level.
Undergraduates, check your induction timetable for your allocated slot.
Postgraduates (PGT), there are three ticketed in-person events with one of them live-streamed so you can tune in and submit questions remotely from home:
- Tuesday 26 September In Person Bloomsbury: Cruciform Lecture Theatre 1, B304 (6:00pm - 7:00pm)
- Tuesday 26 September In Person UCL East: Lecture Theatre, Marshgate, UCL East (6:00pm - 7:00pm). You will view a live screening of the event live from the Bloomsbury campus, then get the chance to ask a Postgraduate student all your questions in person.
- Tuesday 26 September Remote: Livestream (6:00pm - 7:00pm). You will view a live screening of the event from the Bloomsbury campus, then get the chance to ask postgraduate students all your questions via Zoom.
- Wednesday 27 September In Person Bloomsbury: Christopher Ingold Building, XLG2 Auditorium (12:00pm - 1:00pm)
- Thursday 28 September In Person Bloomsbury: Institute Of Education, Logan Hall (12:00pm - 1:00pm)
Please only book 1 ticket per person as there are a limited number of seats available. Multiple tickets ordered by the same person will be cancelled.
