Student Support and Wellbeing

Student Support and Wellbeing will be celebrating self-care week with a range of activities to help you take a step back and take some time for your own wellbeing.

On Monday 15 November 1-3pm, our much-loved Therapy Dogs will be making a return to campus. Pop down to the Japanese Gardens to see our furry friends for a wellbeing boost!

On Tuesday 16 November 10-11:30am, the Institute of Making will be running a knitting class. Knitting has been proven to have a variety of health benefits, including reduced anxiety and relief of chronic pain. This event is open to all students, and you can book onto the event here.

On Thursday 18 November 1-2pmICAS will be running an online workshop exploring balancing social life, studies, drinking and mental health to boost your overall wellbeing in recognition of Alcohol Awareness Week. This is open to all students and you can sign up here.

Gather & Gather will also be helping you carry your self-care through to nutrition, so keep an eye out for healthy energy snacks available in the Refectory and Student Centre Cafés
