Macedonian Level 5 Advanced Plus

Course description: Advanced Plus is designed for people who have completed the Advanced and who have already had knowledge of the language through visiting the country or self-knowledge.  

The course runs over three ten-week terms and each session is two hours long. The course will cover the following:

Topics: science and civilisation, culture: theatre, iconic places, Macedonia in NATO, other topics chosen according to students’ interests.

Functions: understanding colloquial language, basic accents, presenting and defending an argument, responding to criticism, preparing presentations, practising advanced translations

Grammar: revision of grammar introduced on previous levels, expressing time with participial constructions, colloquial and regional grammar form, reported speech

Course materials: press articles, books, audio and video clips.

It will be supported by additional materials created by the teacher (grammar exercises, role play, reading and listening comprehension).
