Our Student Records team manages the administrative data for all UCL students. This covers the student's record and any changes to the student's status, including changes to programmes or modules, interuptions, derferals and withdrawls, authorised absences, study away, and the entire process of enrolment and re-enrolment (registration). The Student Records team also administers upgrades, completing research status and study leave for research students.
The Student Funding team provides guidance on funding available to students through loans, scholarships and bursaries. We also administer schemes to help students in financial difficulties, including emergency loans, the UCL Financial Assistance Fund, and the Doctoral School Fellowship. Student Funding is not responsible for setting, managing or collecting fees, this is handled by the Student Fees team in the department for Finance and Business Affairs.
Our International Support team manages the orientation programme (ISOP) and general guidance for inbound international students, while the Immigration Advice team provides specific guidance on Tier 4 Visas. The Study Aborad team administers opportunities for outbound UCL students wishing to study at an international institution, and the erasmus+ scheme for inbound international students wishing to undertake fixed-term training at UCL.
SRS is responsible for recruiting, training and managing the Wardens and Student Residence Advisers (SRAs) that operate at all UCL halls and houses.
