Space Domain Steering Committee

The UCL Space Domain Steering Committee comprises UCL staff, including Academic Group Leaders, Professional Services staff and Early Career Researchers.

The Steering Committee aids the advancement of the Space Domain through the provision of strategic advice to the Space Domain Leadership Team. This may include: the identification of space related research areas for UCL researchers, and partners, to target; responding to the priorities of governments, research funders, non-governmental organisations and the
private sector; and engaging with debates beyond a strictly academic remit, including knowledge exchange.

The Steering Committe also acts as the oversight committee for ESA_Lab@UCL. This involves providing strategic
advice and oversight of the Head of Space Themes (HOST) committee whose remit is to manage thematic relationships and activities between UCL, ESA and the wider ESA_Lab network.
