Enrolment is organised by the UCL Student and Registry Services who will contact you and ask you to pre-enrol. Once you have completed the pre-enrolment process, you will receive confirmation of your enrolment.
If you have not received notification of your enrolment date by 21 September 2024 please contact newstudents@ucl.ac.uk
It is advised that you enrol within two weeks of your programme start date. You will not have access to University facilities until you have completed the enrolment process.International students can enrol earlier as part of the International Student Orientation Programme.
Continuing students need to re-enrol online via PORTICO. Instructions about re-enrolment will be sent to your UCL email address during the summer so please check your email account.- Induction events
PhD in Psychoanalytic Studies
Thursday 3rd October 2024
12.00-1.30pm- Welcome meeting with PhD staff and students including a brief introduction to the programme and an opportunity to talk informally with staff and students.
The induction meeting will be followed by the following Core Course seminars:
Discussion Group (1.30-2.30pm) and Work-in-Progress Workshop (2.45-3.45pm)

These online Inductions introduce new students to UCL Professional Services, including SSW, Sustainability, Library Services, the Doctoral School and Connected Learning.

Faculty of Brain Sciences PGR Induction
Thursday 3rd October, 1.00-2.00pm (this clashes with the Unit Induction but you will be able to access the recording.
PGR Faculty Induction including short welcome videos from the Doctoral School. To inform students of facilities offered to research students, and to give new students a flavour of the exciting research community at UCL. The sessions will introduce you to the Pro-Vice-Provost of the Doctoral School as well as other members of UCL. Information will be provided about what the Doctoral School can offer you during your time at UCL.
