About the Faculty
The faculty also provides a base for a number of research centres and institutes: these facilitate in-depth and interdisciplinary research through collaboration between experts within MAPS, and in related areas in Engineering Sciences and Life Sciences.
About the Dean and Vice-Deans
The faculty office, headed by the Dean and the Director of Operations, carries out the central governance, administration and strategic direction of the faculty. It also runs the Natural Sciences Degree, the faculty's cross-departmental undergraduate programme.
The Faculty recognises excellence among students and staff through a number of prizes: the Faculty Medal, the Dean's List, the Jackson Lewis Scholarship, Faculty Undergraduate Scholarship for Excellence, the Faculty Postgraduate Prize and Faculty teaching awards.
