Student external awards and prizes 2023

Three UCL students in Chemistry, Physics and Astronomy and the London Centre for Nanotechnology placed first out of over 130 applications to share $30,000.

Tech startup upLYFT, co-founded by UCL and Imperial College London students, has won the Health award in this year’s prestigious entrepreneurial competition held at London’s City Hall.

Team Phagel, consisting of second year UCL Natural Sciences students Tristan Edwards, Ellen Roshier and Daniel Wan, have won Society of Chemical Industry’s fifth edition of Bright SCIdea Challenge and walked away with the coveted big cheque for £5,000.
