5G Open Source Components & Testbeds

These pages present aspects, components, and testbeds which are part of the challenge for 5G infrastructures and that are being developed at UCL Communications and Information Systems Group. Much of the existing work has been undertaken during these projects: RESERVOIR, AutoI, UniverSELF, DOLFIN, SONATA, and 5GEx. These components and testbeds will be further developed in the future.

The 5G functions are arranged in 4 groups which include the 5G Core functions, required for the main functionality of a 5G platform; the 5G Service Support End-to-End functions, required for dealing with the full path end-to-end issues and aspects; 5G Cross aspect functions, which address aspects that are not in one particular area, but are in many areas; and finally Support functions and UCL Testbed, which are useful and aid in the understanding of the whole 5G system.
