Life course transitions and Italian migrants in time of change and austerity

Understanding the effects of migration on the life course of individuals. Part of the Cities partnership Programme.

Migration is one of the key challenges that Europe faces today.

This new collaboration will bring together academics from different disciplinary backgrounds, policy makers and third sector organisations for public debate and to develop research ideas.

Through a conference and seminar, scholars explore ideas and synergies on migration and social reproduction and the effects of migration on the life course of individuals particularly on employment, family formation and fertility.
