The GES was created to deliver global impact: the sixth Principal Theme of UCL 2034.
To develop the strategy, UCL's Vice-Provost International Dame Nicola Brewer conducted a comprehensive, university-wide consultation with academics, staff and students to understand what was important for the university's global engagement.
The resulting GES has partnerships of equivalence at its heart: reciprocal relationships of mutual trust and respect.
Its five strategic drivers are helping UCL to deliver sustainable global impact in partnership.
UCL's previous Global Engagement Strategy (2015-2020) concluded in late 2019 and GEO is now focusing on the upcoming 2020-2025 strategy. In late 2019 a survey was commissioned to explore aspects of the forthcoming strategy. The deadline for completing the survey has passed; please email questions to email@example.com.
