UCL Global

UCL works with partners to achieve fair solutions to global challenges: Think global, act together.

We developed the Global Engagement Strategy (GES) based on UCL 2034 and the global aspects of its six Principal Themes.

The GES was created to deliver global impact: the sixth Principal Theme of UCL 2034.

To develop the strategy, UCL's Vice-Provost International Dame Nicola Brewer conducted a comprehensive, university-wide consultation with academics, staff and students to understand what was important for the university's global engagement.

The resulting GES has partnerships of equivalence at its heart: reciprocal relationships of mutual trust and respect.

Its five strategic drivers are helping UCL to deliver sustainable global impact in partnership.

GES 2020-2025

UCL's previous Global Engagement Strategy (2015-2020) concluded in late 2019 and GEO is now focusing on the upcoming 2020-2025 strategy. In late 2019 a survey was commissioned to explore aspects of the forthcoming strategy. The deadline for completing the survey has passed; please email any questions to vpi.global@ucl.ac.uk
