Developing a cure for children with HIV
Developing a pathway to a cure for HIV in children through a collaborative research study. Part of the Cities partnership Programme.
20 February 2020
This project represents an important component of the work already established between Instituto di Ricovero e Cura a Carattere Scientifico (IRCCS) and UCL to develop a cure for HIV in children.
The proposed study will provide data using cutting edge technologies on a very rare and special population of children with HIV infection.
The data collected will be processed by mathematical modellers which will inform future strategies to establishing a cure.
